It's not like I don't come here everyday and read peoples posts. Just making one for myself, would have been pointless since not much happened in the last few months. Well; that's not entirely true. Once again, list of things that happened/coming up.

Turning 24: I had a blast. I saw Elise who I haven't hung out with in like a YEAR <---worst best friend ever. Sarah J joined us on the trip to Boston where we got to see the Harry Potter Exhibit. It ROCKED. Omg! The costumes were beautiful, the props were so cool. You got to play Quidditch! The gift shop, rocked! I hope I get to go again before it's out of the MoS so my Mom, Missy and Gram can go too. Maybe next weekend...

Anywho, met up with Haldan, Maddy and Ryan at the Hard Rock Cafe which was a nightmare XD But when you're with the right group of people, anything is made into a good time. In short...it took us three hours to finally get fed and get out of there, our drinks took an hour to come to the table, some of our food, wasn't cooked right, waitress started to sing Happy Birthday and then bailed when the table next to us got the WHOLE TO DO that Hard Rock is known for, there was a Gong and it wasn't for me XD;;;!!! Dinner was a shit show, but the rest of the day was nice, until we missed the last train and Elise's boyfriend had to come get our asses LOL. Only thing that would have made the trip perfect would have been if Bry was there <3 Still, pretty decent birthday.

Christmas:... was awkward this year. Went to my Uncle Kevin's house, which is lovely, but none of us can stand our Aunt Gale. She's waiting for my Grandparents to drop so she can collect. Only shows up when one of them is sick. She's rude and obnoxious and I wouldn't mind if she fell off the face of the Earth to be honest. But she has horses and they rock, until she traps you in the riding ring to give you a training class. We were all thrilled...really -_-;; Food was good, they don't exchange presents so we had to run to my Grandparent's first to do that. All the cousins were together at the same holiday party for the first time in...ten years? Maybe more then that? It was awesome though. Besides the fact that we all wanted to escape most of the day, it was a decent Christmas.

Work: Still managing. Wanna slap people. The End XD!

New York City: I'm going for five days :o! This excites me for many reasons. A) I get to spend all of it with Bry :3! B) Going to see the Lion King on Friday(hopefully) as well as hit up all my favorite eating places. C) Ryan and Ben might be coming down on Saturday to hang out with us! I really hope they can make it. Ryan needs some Katy time and I wanna meet Ben! Double dating FTW! D)No working! I love that city :3 It just better stop snowing so I can GO Thursday morning. Only thing I don't look forward to is the 4 hour bus ride. I don't know how Bry does it all the time XD I'll have my compy and *crosses fingers* HOPEFULLY internet to keep me amused. Oh yeah...and I have to pack. Yuck XD

Con Season: It's upon us again. I know, I should cut back on the ones I go to, but I have a good time and now that I have a better paying job, I can save money a little better and still go to a few. (Until I get an apartment, and then I might have to cut them down) However, this year AB is gonna rock because- Hmmm I dunno if I can say or not >> Let's just say it's not a skit, but I'm helping out this year. Still attending and dressing up!

AAC: WELL DUH! This is my favorite con :3 Still have to do my 'Interview' with Lisa, but I plan on coming back to Host again. Hopefully with a better schedule -_- I know there were little things I was suppose to introduce last year, but I never got a confirmation or a write up...really disorganized last time. But I made it to all the big events so that's what matters I guess :) Looking forward to the theme this year, and I think I figured out what I want to host as.

Apartment: By September, I wanna be moved out of my house. It's time. I love my mom and I know living here for free, I have a good thing, but I need my own space. Sarah J said she would like to move in with me and I know she and I could live together with no problem. She's super easy going and pleasent so MAJOR props to that. I'll be excited for more room for my stuff, better organization and just a place to call my own. And a bigger bed. Saving for a bigger bed lol! So hopefully, by the end of this summer, we'll find something. Keep your fingers crossed kids!

Car: I OWN MY CAR BITCHES. IS MINE AND PAID OFF AND MINE. One less bill to pay :) w00t w00t.

Captain's Log:

Not dead. *waves* Which is a plus in my book. It's been a crazy long time since I've posted on here, but I'm under the impression that in this new age, everyone focuses more on Facebook and *shutters* Twitter, that a lot of viewing time doesn't go to the LJ anymore. So I've been saving up to make bigger posts. That and I'm also one of those people that pays more attention to the FB then anything else these days. But for those of you that still read this thing, life update, ahoy!

As far as work goes, things have calmed down. People have gotten over their drama and I know who I can and can't talk to anymore. Some of them bitches will never grow up and hate that I'm kinda their boss now and to them I just wait till they do something retarded and then lay on them. They're not giving my slack, why should I give them any? Not looking for trouble, but if it's thrown at me, I'm not giving in. Not much drama though. Surprisingly. I think Jeff had something to do with it, but he'll never say he helped me out :) I know he thinks I'm awesome, despite all the crap he gives me from time to time.

Arbella...sucks cock. The End. Hopefully this drama will be over by the beginning of next month. So ends the chapter on that bullshit.

Moving on to the finer things in life, CONVENTION TIME! It's the end of my con season until next year and the next two are going to be rather epic. My costumes are almost done. Just need to buy/cut out/make, America. I also have a secret costume to surprise Bry. I just hope she likes it :). At the moment I have 5 costumes going! YEAH BE JEALOUS. No don't be, I'm in fabric Hell XD;;;

I have Steve and Ryan's costumes all cut out. Ryan's Grey Hare outfit is so close to being done I could cry. I love it. I created the design for it and it just looks so good. I'm very proud of it and I can't wait to finish it so he can wear it :) It just needs buttons and the finished work on the hat.

Steve's Hetalia costume is the best color ever. All the pictures I compare it to are spot on. Just needs to be pieced together and then fitted onto him for buttons/button holes. And then the pants drama begins XD;; I THINK I have enough for them. Maybe...that's tomorrow. Pattern and biased tape for Ryan's I forgot to buy LOL WHOOPS.

Ryan's Hetalia costume is more complex. Go figure, Jack Harkness, yet again, a pain in my ass <3 But an easy enough. His actually closes, SO NO LINING. *tears of joy* No one is ever going to see the inside of it.

Halloween costumes are almost done. Just need to adjust the fitting on the shirts. I can finish my apron for Spock sometime this week and I should be good to go on Friday. STAR TREK FOR THE WIN. I'm so pumped to wear Spock :3 My hair is all cut for it now and I will dye it on Thursday night/morning. And then SATURDAY I AM MANAGING WHICH MEANS I CAN WEAR ONE OF MY FANCY AMAZING COSTUMES. I don't know what to wear. SO POLL TIME!!!!

Just some ideas for topics and what not during the FMA Panel and that one for the DBZ movie. I plan to DESTROY IT. I'm really excited to meet the guests at both cons this year too. Half of Funimation is going to AAC this year and then NEFE...WELL. *cough* Gareth David-Llyod AND Lenord Nimoy? <3~~ And of course Sonny Strait will be there. I just hope he likes my Hughes/Roy.

The other night at work we sat a large party out back. And for whatever reason we tend to turn the lights down to set a mood or something. A couple minutes later, one of the bus kids comes up to me and asks for this party if they could move someplace a little brighter.

Been house sitting for Emily's family the last week. Rosie is as crazy as always but it's been fun having a huge house to myself. Except her neighbors are much nosier this time. Like cars slowing down to stare at the car in the yard and such >>;; Rather unnerving. Half expect the police to be waiting for me one of these nights. LOL But they come home tonight, so I guess I'll never find out huh?

Went to NYC with Missy for her 30th birthday! She had a wicked good time. Well she said she did so I believe her. Hotel in Times Square, Avenue Q for the third time, COMPLETE with the original Christmas Eve. THAT was amazing. I got to see her after the show and fangirl a little. She's so awesome.

Did a lot of exploring there which included more of Central Park. Which really was only a small dent compared to how HUGE it is. Also got to hang out with Blady and Sweeney. Dinner at Carmines with the whole gang. And of course Bry was there so it's always a good time :3

I miss my city so much :( I really should just move there and get it over with. As much as I would miss New Hampshire, there is just something homey to me about that city. Still plenty of time to think about it. Save money, all that jazz.

Offical Manager at work now. I still waitress from time to time, but I manage about 4 times a week now. Which means buying new clothes just for work. Maybe some of the people there want to wear what they always do to work in, but I like having a much nicer look. More professional. Something that says: yeah, she's the boss right now.

Unfortunately, my t-shirts and jeans don't cut it XD; Sad. Another part of growing up I guess.

Speaking of which where the HELL has this year gone?! August is almost over which means winter and fall are sneaking up..which means my birthday in just 3 and a half months. (yes far off, but the way time is moving, pretty fucking close) 24...24!?!?!

Good thing about it, is I plan on getting a bit of ink this year. Yep. Markin' my body up. Nothing big and detailed. Something small and fun. Still have a while to hash it out, but I'm pretty sure I know what I want.

Ah well, back to watching Planet of the Apes.

I would have posted a week ago, but LJ has been a bitch to post on. Since it's behaving right now, I guess I can make an update of sorts.

CtCon was amazing thanks to my wonderful friends and fantastic events. I had a blast hosting the Dating Game and Masquerade with Ryan. I just wish there was some more footage up of the Dating Game D: I really wanna see it from the audience perspective. Everyone said it was awesome, but I need a little more proof XD!

Spent the rest of the week after at Bry's house. Gambled for the first time in a Casino :D Lost $20. Can't say I didn't try! Saw the G-Force movie..yeah. Yeah.. Natter's and Bry loved it. I think Disney was stretching a little. Seriously, it makes me think of Family Guy ragging on Steven King. Where he's waving the lamp around trying to pitch it as an evil lamp..lol.

I'm management at work now. Couple of shifts a week to start off with. I'm kind of excited. Seeing as a few years ago, I was to nice to be a manager. LOOK AT ME NOW. I must be a raging bitch or something XD WOOOO! Whatever, gets me a raise and a reason to go out and buy some new clothes. Ugh..skirts XP! Or you know..a suit hehehe.

Um..if we had not noticed from the icons, someone fell in love with Doctor Who. I watched four seasons in a week and a half @_@ My brain kinda hurts but I love it! David is an amazing Doctor and I'm kinda sad that he's almost done. Matt Smith should be a good Doctor but I think number 10 will always be my favorite. I bought season 4 while in Maine the other day since it was surprisingly cheap there. Hope to get the others soon as well.

And I finally made my peace with Torchwood. Funny how if you watch a scene enough times, you see exactly what you want in it and it makes things a little bit better. Season Four still makes me a little angry, but I will watch it now XD;; For more clarification, feel free to ask.

I'm watching Season 5 of Project Runway that I bought at Target for $20. I love that store. I'm so glad we have one close by now.

Going to NYC in 2 weeks for my sister's birthday. SHE'S NEVER BEEN BEFORE AND SHE'S ALMOST 30. I can't accept that at all. Sight seeing and a show! Gonna be a blast. She and I have never had a trip just us before so it should be interesting to say the least. Expect a shit ton of pictures :3

I guess that's good enough for now. Not like anyone really reads this thing anyways XD
